Join a team of creative volunteers who will record panels, workshops, etc at the This Is Not Art (TINA) Festival (2-6 October 2008), as well as interview artists, organisers and punters. These recordings will then be available online as podcasts and vodcasts. The Online Media Team will be responsible for recording these activities, and producing the online material. No experience needed!

Combine your passion for online media with your management skills, and coordinate a team of volunteers who will record panels, workshops, etc at the This Is Not Art (TINA) Festival (2-6 October 2008), as well as interview artists, organisers and punters. These recordings will then be available online as podcasts and vodcasts.

From the opening scene, quoting the book of Genesis and God’s creation of night and day, Director Lawrence Johnston invites us to consider the changing face of society in the wake of industrialisation and the discovery of electricity. The film explores the notion that the introduction of electrical light has forever altered the natural cycle and pattern of human behaviour, and has facilitated our dominion over the night, a part of the day previously untouched by human intervention. The entire film is a celebration of contrasts.
