She who Discovers

This is an annual competition for female artists to exhibit contemporay art works in celebration of International Women’s Day. Work can be two or three dimensional and can be created in any medium. Winners will receive exhibitions at sponsored galleries.

Application fee $10, if accepted, exhibition fee $45.

2009 Sydney Royal Easter Show Art Competition

The Sydney Royal Arts Show brings together a broad range of arts including: painting, pottery, sculpture, silverwork, felting, photography, mosaic etc.

Expression of Interest - Public Art Project in Merriwa

Merriwa Main Street Letterbox project will be a public art project comprising of individually designed letterboxes made from recycled materials, to be erected in Merriwa’s main street. Upper Hunter Shire Council is seeking expressions of interest from artist/s who have experience consulting with small  communities and businesses and working with recycled materials such as wood & metal. This project will proceed in 2009 and is subject to grant funding.

“Pixels on Paper” Maeve Vella and “Wire. Feathers. Rock”

This is Maeve’s 3rd show of digital art, since being introduced to computer graphics in 1999. Leanne’s exhibition follows on from the successful sticky tape installations last year. Runs until the 21st December. Launch 23rd November, 2pm with sausage sizzle.
